Earlier in the month, the Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade returns on Saturday, September 19, stepping off at 8:00 p.m. from Beulah Colbert Park and following the Southwest Trail to Lee and White, an easy trip across the Beltline for residents who want to see it. The East Atlanta Village Farmers Market also keeps its regular Thursday hours from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 572 Stokeswood Avenue, a short trip from home.

October Near 915 Glenwood

October brings the Ormewood Park Makers Festival to Ormewood Church on Saturday, October 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with local artists, food vendors, live music, and a kids zone at 1071 Delaware Avenue, right in the 915 Glenwood zip code. Zoo Atlanta also brings back Boo at the Zoo sometime in October, with treats, photo ops, and Halloween activities at the zoo in Grant Park, though exact 2026 dates had not been announced at the time of writing. The farmers market continues its Thursday schedule throughout the month as well.

The East Atlanta Village Farmers Market wraps its 2026 season on November 19, the last Thursday market before it takes its winter break, making it a good final chance to shop local before the holidays set in.
